Privacy Policy

The short version: NomadPack does not collect your personal data. Your packing lists live entirely on your device. We never see them, store them, or share them. The only third-party service we use is RevenueCat, which handles payment processing for NomadPack Pro.

This Privacy Policy describes how NomadPack ("App", "we", "us") handles information when you use our iOS application. We are committed to your privacy and have designed NomadPack to operate with minimal data collection.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect personal information. NomadPack does not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or share any personal details to use the App.

All data you create in the App — including packing lists, trip names, custom items, and preferences — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's standard local storage (UserDefaults and local file system). This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us or any server we operate.

3. In-App Purchases — RevenueCat

To process the NomadPack Pro one-time purchase, we use RevenueCat — a third-party payment infrastructure service. When you make a purchase or restore a purchase, RevenueCat receives information necessary to verify your transaction with Apple, including:

RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or payment card details — those are handled exclusively by Apple. For more information on how RevenueCat processes data, see the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

All actual payment processing is handled by Apple and subject to the Apple Privacy Policy.

4. Analytics and Crash Reporting

NomadPack does not use any third-party analytics or crash reporting SDKs beyond what Apple provides natively to App Store developers. Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymized usage statistics and crash reports through App Store Connect. We cannot identify individual users from this data.

5. Children's Privacy

NomadPack is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since the App collects no personal information at all, there is no special risk to minors from using NomadPack itself.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. The only data sharing that occurs is the anonymous transaction data described in Section 3 (RevenueCat / Apple), which is strictly necessary to deliver the in-app purchase.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Because all your data is stored locally on your device, you control it completely:

8. Security

Since your data is stored locally on your device, its security depends on your device's own security model (Face ID / Touch ID / passcode). We do not transmit your packing data over the internet, eliminating the risk of server-side breaches.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data under applicable law (such as GDPR for EU residents or CCPA for California residents).
